The conference will take place at the Donghua University (Yan’an Road Campus, http://www.dhu.edu.cn/), located in the downtown area of Shanghai, China. Shanghai is an international and modern city, and it is Chinese national economic, financial, trade and shipping center. It is also an emerging tourist city with profound cultural foundation and numerous historical monuments, and the success of the World Expo 2010. For example, the Bund is one of the famous scenic spots. Donghua University (DHU) was founded in 1951, and is one of the state-key universities directly under the Ministry of Education of China. Many characteristic disciplines in the university, such as Fashion Design, Textile Engineering, International Trade, Material Science, and Information Technology, have received high reputation both domestically and abroad. DHU is a multi-disciplinary university with a wide range of undergraduate and graduate degree programs across a large field of disciplines including science, engineering, management, economics, literature and art, laws, and education. It has 13 colleges and schools, offering 54 undergraduate programs, 59 master’s degree programs, 30 doctoral degree programs, and 5 postdoctoral research programs. There are more than 2,800 faculty and staff, and over 30,000 enrolled students at DHU.

The Donghua university campus is accessible by metro and bus from the city center in less than 30 minutes, and convenient to the railway station and airports. It is 40 minutes away from Shanghai Hongqiao Airport by Metro Line 10. It is one hour (or one hour and 40 minutes) away from Pudong International Airport by taxi (or Metro Line 2).

Many comfortable hotels and Inns are around the campus within 10 minutes’ walk, including Shanghai Rainbow Hotel (4 star,https://www.booking.com/), Ji Hotel (Quasi 4 star,https://www.booking.com/), hotel chains such as Hanting Hotel, 7 Days Inn and Motel 168, and Donghua University Hotel which is inside the campus.

Interesting Places Around

There are many beautiful scenic spots around Shanghai. One of the most popular choices is to enjoy the attractive sceneries in ancient water towns with millennium histories. For example, Tongli Millennium Eldest Town, which is 80 kilometers from Shanghai Hongqiao Airport, and Wuzhen town, which is the location of the well-known annual World Internet Conferences (Wuzhen Summit), are two of the six ancient towns in the south of the Yangtze River. Please note that any tour cost is not included in the registration fee.
